LAS VEGAS, June 11 (UPI) -- A video posted to YouTube depicts passengers on a long-delayed Allegiant Air flight in Las Vegas singing R. Kelly's 1996 hit "I Believe I Can Fly."

Dustin Kaelberer, who posted the video, said the flight from Las Vegas to Phoenix was delayed for about five hours Sunday at McCarran International Airport before the passengers started joined in a chorus of the R&B hit, KVVU-TV, Los Angeles, reported Tuesday.

"Pretty much everybody was just, if you don't laugh about it, you cry," Kaelberer said.

He said passengers were suffering due to the heat on the plane and no water was made available.

"People were getting nose bleeds, they were throwing up in the bathrooms because of the heat," Kaelberer said.

Brian Davis, spokesman for Allegiant Air, said passengers were given free beverages during the flight and $100 credit for future travel with the airline as compensation for their ordeal.
