ORLANDO, Fla., May 28 (UPI) -- A penguin jumped out of a new exhibit at Florida's SeaWorld and was caught on video walking around the viewing area.

Witnesses said the penguin jumped out of the new "Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin" attraction Saturday at the Orlando park, one day after the penguin exhibit opened to the public, WFTV, Orlando, reported Tuesday.

The witnesses said the penguin was surrounded by SeaWorld staff until a handler arrived and returned the bird to the water.

The penguin's brief escape from the visit was caught on video by a SeaWorld visitor.
