BOCA RATON, Fla., May 27 (UPI) -- A Florida woman who gave birth in a hospital parking lot is gaining national attention after the birth was immortalized by a photographer.

Amy Beth Bennett, a photojournalist for the South Florida Sun Sentinel, and fellow photojournalist Joe Cavaretta welcomed their second child Friday morning on the sidewalk of the parking lot at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the birth was photographed by Boca Raton baby photographer Emily Robinson, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Monday.

The photos and the story of Sienna Grace's birth have gone viral online and in national news outlets including The Huffington Post.

Bennett said she was astonished when she saw the pictures.

"They were just beautiful," said Bennett. "[As a photojournalist] how can I ask people to invite me into their lives and share their intimate moments with me, with our readers, and then turn around and say I'm not willing to do the same."
