SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., May 24 (UPI) -- A California family said they are "devastated" by the loss of the four French bulldogs and an English bulldog stolen from their yard.

Miriam Juarez of San Bernardino County said the prize-winning show dogs were stolen from her family's yard between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Wednesday, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported Friday.

Juarez said two French bulldogs were stolen from the family about three months ago.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said the matter is being investigated as possible grand theft.
