Fidencio Argueta, 60, of Brentwood, said he does not regularly play the lotto, but he decided to buy a ticket for the April 10 drawing with Quick-Pick numbers on a whim -- and the impulse led to him receiving a $12,335,306 lump sum check Thursday, the New York Post reported Friday.
"I felt like I should play," Argueta said Thursday of his impulse to play the lotto.
Argueta said the winnings will change his life "in a big way," including allowing him to "pay off my debts and change my car."
