Clinton Shepherd said he was scheduled to board the Ferris wheel at 2:30 p.m. Friday, WLS-TV, Chicago, reported. Advertisement Shepherd is aiming to beat the Guinness World Record for a continuous fairground or theme park ride, 30 hours and 35 seconds. Shepherd said Ferris wheel fans could hitch a free ride with him.
