KENNEWICK, Wash., May 16 (UPI) -- Police in Washington state said they arrested a woman who drove a stolen vehicle into the drive-through of a McDonald's where the vehicle's owner was working.

Kennewick police said Virginia Maiden was working at the McDonald's when she spotted the sport utility vehicle, which had been stolen Tuesday morning from her apartment complex, the Tri-City Herald, Kennewick, reported Thursday.

Police said the driver of the SUV, Katherine York, 22, was arrested. A male riding with her in the vehicle was not arrested.

Investigators said they found clothing stolen from JC Penney and Sears in the vehicle.
