Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe JUPITER, Fla., May 16 (UPI) -- A Florida man carrying a revolver in the pocket of his shorts accidentally shot himself while bowling, witnesses said. Police said the man, whose name was not released, was bowling at Jupiter Lanes in Jupiter around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when he incurred the gunshot wound to his leg, WPBF-TV, West Palm Beach, reported Thursday. Advertisement Witnesses said the man was carrying a revolver in the pocket of his shorts and the weapon fired off a round when he struck himself in the leg with his bowling ball. The man's injuries were not considered life-threatening, but he was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center as a precaution, police said.
