The ministry confirmed the diplomat's dachshund bit the 72-year-old woman, identified only as Mrs. Lee, during a walk at Namsan Park in Seoul, The Local.de reported Thursday. Advertisement The South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo said the diplomat had been detained and released by police on allegations of assault for allegedly kicking and pushing Lee's adult son when he tried to fend off the canine. "The German embassy in Seoul is in contact with all involved parties in order to find a constructive solution," a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said. Mrs. Lee was reported to have sustained minor injuries in the incident.
