Couple busted on nudity charge at S.C. beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 15 (UPI) -- Police in South Carolina said they arrested a young couple in their 20s who were found nude on a beach in the wee hours.

North Myrtle Beach police said Kyle Martin Schnoebelen and Jasmine Kim Walton, who are both in their early 20s and from Virginia, were nude when an officer on foot patrol discovered them on the beach around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, The (Myrtle Beach) Sun News reported Wednesday.

Police said the couple told officers they had decided to take a nude swim and their clothes were gone when they returned to the beach.

Schnoebelen and Walton, who police said appeared "grossly intoxicated" and were uncooperative, were charged with public nudity.
