PLANTATION, Fla., May 12 (UPI) -- A Florida man says he enlisted the help of his Boston terrier to help him propose to his girlfriend, and she said yes.

The proposal happened Saturday at the Green Paws Pet Market in Plantation, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

Charles "Chad" Moreau arranged for his girlfriend, Tiffany Galpern, to pick up his dog Molly from the groomer. When Glapern arrived at the shop, Molly was wearing a pink T-shirt that read, "Will you marry my Daddy?"

Moreau then showed up, got down on one knee and asked: "Will you marry me and be Molly's mom forever?"

"Of course I will," Galpern answered.

Galpern said the proposal was "definitely unique and definitely unexpected."

"She didn't think I would go through with it," Moreau said.
