The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office said a deputy pulled over Sakima Rashad Bracero, 21, for running a stop sign Tuesday and soon discovered the 2004 Dodge Neon had been reported stolen in Fort Walton Beach, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Friday. Advertisement Deputies said Bracero initially claimed the car belonged to his girlfriend then later changed his story to say he found it with the keys inside and thought it was his, the sheriff's office said. The sheriff's office said a red pill was found in Bracero's front pants pocket. He first claimed it was candy and later said it was medicine, but he said he did not know what kind. Bracero was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and driving without a license. Deputies also cited him for running a stop sign and failing to yield right of way. The pill is being analyzed to determine its substance, deputies said.
