Didi Coyle of Brookline said her husband, Tom Szydlowski, was in the living room of their home about 6:30 p.m. April 28 with their dog when he saw the bird crash through the window, the Boston Globe reported Thursday.
Coyle said she was standing in her driveway at the time and witnessed the crash from outside the house.
"I was just sort of casually watching it and I realized it was aiming for my house," said. "It's a big old Victorian house, a pinkish color, so I can't imagine it didn't see the house."
Coyle said a police officer arrived and was able to coax the turkey out of the house through a window. She said the turkey appeared to have lost a small amount of blood from the crash.
"I'm glad nobody was hurt -- husband, dog or turkey," she said.
