Biker cited for riding at 130 mph

LAPINE, Ore., May 7 (UPI) -- Oregon State Police said a man was cited when a trooper clocked him riding his brand new motorcycle at 130 mph.

Police said a trooper pulled over Gregory Zaser, 61, of Medina, Wash., on U.S. 97, near Lapine, Ore., Monday when he was clocked riding his Ducati motorcycle at 130 mph in a 55 mph zone, The (Portland) Oregonian reported Tuesday.

Zaser, who was cited for speeding, told the trooper he was trying to test out the capabilities of the motorcycle, which he had just bought.
