Ron Evans, primate team leader at the zoo, said baby gorilla Gladys has been introduced to the Gorilla World outdoor yard and will be on public display in the pen from 12:45 p.m. until 2 p.m. most afternoons, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Monday. She was relocated Feb. 22 to Cincinnati, where she is being cared for by human surrogates until a female gorilla can act as a surrogate mother. Evans said the surrogates are working on the "gorillification" of Gladys, by encouraging her to climb trees and explore caves.
