HOLLYWOOD, April 28 (UPI) -- Police in Hollywood said they're searching for a Spider-Man impersonator who allegedly stole $6,000 in cash from a tour bus company employee.

The masked thief stole the money and credit card information from the Starlines Tour Bus company employee Friday as the worker was leaving the company's Hollywood Boulevard headquarters, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Rich Galbaldon said.

Police have been questioning Spider-Man impersonators throughout the city, hoping to find the suspect, NBCLosAngeles.com reported.

The reason the employee was carrying $6,000 in cash was not reported.
