A firefighter who arrived on the scene told the deputy "French told him the real reason she called 911 was 'because she was lonely.'" The sheriff's office said French was found to have dialed 911 five times between March 22 and March 30. She was taken to the hospital each time, but was found to be intoxicated and not in any medical distress. French was arrested on a charge of abuse of 911.
