ROSSIGLIONE, Italy, April 11 (UPI) -- The international Interbull organization has named Zephir, a 5-year-old Italian bull, the world's most fertile for having sired 104 calves.

The organization said Zephir, from Rossiglione, Italy, had more calves than other competitors submitted from the United States, Switzerland, Austria and Germany, ANSA reported.

The brown bull was dubbed the world champion of bull fertility Thursday.
