State Sen. Tick Segerblom told the Las Vegas Sun he made "an administrative" decision not to bring the measure up to a vote in the Nevada Senate Judiciary Committee and the bill was "dead." Advertisement Women who are 18 or older are allowed to work in so-called juice bars in Nevada that do not serve alcohol. The doomed bill would have raised the minimum employment age to 21. The Sun said the measure was opposed by the American Civil Liberties Union, which considered barring women over the age of 18 from performing in the buff to be a violation of their right to free speech.
