Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe RENSSELAER, Ind., April 8 (UPI) -- Authorities in Indiana said a man who took a troubled drive in his car called 911 to report himself as a drunken driver. Indiana State Police spokeswoman Ann Wojas said Matthew Devore, 24, of Logansport told Trooper Danielle Elwood he took a drive in his 1996 Toyota on Interstate 65 in Jasper County just after midnight Monday morning and lost control of the vehicle, the Indianapolis Star reported Monday. Advertisement Devour said the car came to a stop on the median and he drove back onto the interstate, but soon realized he had a flat tire. He said he then pulled over to the side of the road and decided to report himself as a drunk driver. Devour's blood alcohol content was measured at .09 percent, slightly higher than the .08 percent legal limit for driving. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail in Rensselaer.
