LOUGHBOROUGH, England, April 8 (UPI) -- A British woman said she wants her housing authority to find her family a new home because the one they're in now is haunted by a ghost named Nigel.
Stacey McGill, 29, moved into her home in Loughborough, England, with her partner Carl, 25, and their 18-month-old daughter Chelsey in December.
As soon as they moved in, McGill said she noticed things were amiss. Lights turn on and off randomly, as does the microwave. She said she's left with the feeling of cobwebs on her skin when she walks through the residence, The Sun said Sunday.
She even hired a paranormal "investigator" to survey the house. The ghost expert said the home is, in fact, haunted -- by a harmless ghost named Nigel who is in his 30s and has a learning disability.
The housing authority said it would continue to "offer support and advice" to McGill -- but probably not a new house.
