Denver's Big Blue Bear vandalized

March 31, 2013 at 4:08 PM   |   Comments

DENVER, March 31 (UPI) -- Vandals added some color to Denver's iconic Big Blue Bear statue, pouring green paint down its back, police said.

The 40-foot statue stands outside the Denver Convention Center.

The added paint makes it look like the bear is wearing a green cape, The Denver Post reported.

Police said they were looking for whoever was responsible for the Saturday night incident.
