ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland, March 29 (UPI) -- Police in Newfoundland said a man charged with drunken driving was arrested 2 hours later on the same charge.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the 22-year-old man was stopped in St. John's around 1:30 a.m. Friday and charged with impaired driving and failing a breath test, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Friday.

The man was given a court date and released but was stopped again 2 hours later -- and again charged with impaired driving and failing the test.
