The customer complained of finding a screw in his kebab meal at the eatery in Skane in early March, and the owner of the restaurant -- whose name wasn't released -- told the Dagens Nyheter newspaper the screw was from a pair of tongs used to make salads, The Local.se reported Friday. Advertisement The customer complained to the local council's environmental office, which sent out inspectors and discovered the restaurant was using a cement mixer painted blue to make salad dressing and sauces. The inspectors said pieces of paint were flaking off the machine. "When I took over the restaurant, the previous owner told me that everything had been approved," the owner told Dagens Nyheter. "When health inspectors pointed out that the cement mixer wasn't acceptable, I threw it out and bought a rust-free mixer the very same day."
