Bobby Chin, a senior at Centennial High School in Maryland's Howard County, said he really wanted to go to prom with a girl named Sofia, whom he met about six months ago, the New York Daily News reported. Chin said prom came up in conversation between him and Sofia during a conversation at lunch on Monday. "I just wanted to ask her, for information," Chin said. "I told her I'd ask her again, the right way." So, Chin enlisted the help of his friend Kevin Qin to write a serenade for Sofia to the tune of Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours," and performed it in the hallway at school on Wednesday. "What are you doing on 4/20?" Chin continues. "That's our prom you want to go with somebody? I'm hoping that person is you. Please make my dreams come true." Advertisement And Sofia said "Yes." The two will be attending prom on April 20. One of Chin's friends uploaded a video of the event to Facebook and it has since gone viral, gaining over 7,000 likes.
