The Hidden Ark group said the ark, being built on the outskirts of Hialeah, will include a veterinary laboratory, stables, a petting area, shops and a dining area, WTVJ-TV, Miami, reported Monday. Advertisement "It's a religious thing because it's Noah and God teaches us to protect animals," said Carolina Peralta of the Hidden Ark group. "You're using Noah's Ark to make a statement about helping animals and conserving our planet." The group said the ark will also take in local animals in need of a home. "Animals from the street, animals that are hurt, animals that no one can take care of, we will take them in," Peralta said. "We are not predicting the end of the world. No big floods."
