PASADENA, Calif., March 2 (UPI) -- The staff of a California animal shelter says they have video of the truck that dropped off 15 Chihuahuas at their front door.

The diminutive dog pack was found early Friday outside the office of the Pasadena Humane Society with no indication of where they had come from.

The only clues are a monogrammed blanket found in one of the wire crates and surveillance video that shows a white pickup truck stopping at the building shortly before dawn.

KTLA-TV in Los Angeles says the city has a misdemeanor law on the books regarding abandoning dogs that carries a fine.

The dogs will be put up for adoption.
