The team said several local musicians auditioned for the job Monday and the chosen winner will play for all 81 scheduled home games during the next baseball season, The Miami Herald reported Tuesday. Advertisement Officials said the winning organist will be required to have a good understanding of all musical genres, knowledge of the Marlins and the sort of creativity needed to entertain the crowd during spontaneous moments of games.
