MIAMI, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- U.S. fast-food chain Burger King's official Twitter account was apparently besieged by hackers who changed the account's picture to the McDonald's logo.
The account, @BurgerKing, has its profile picture and name changed to McDonald's just after noon Monday and tweets mentioned hacker groups Anonymous and LulzSec, CBS News reported Tuesday.
The posts used the hashtag #OpMadCow, the apparent title given to the hacking operation.
The account was briefly suspended Monday evening and returned with the Burger King logo restored. The tweets from during the hacking were deleted.
"Interesting day here at Burger King, but we're back! Welcome to our new followers. Hope you all stick around!" the company tweeted.
The company did not say if a suspect has been identified in the hacking.
Zoo loses tiger, gains two
FORT WAYNE, Ind., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- An Indiana zoo said its Sumatran tiger has moved to San Diego for breeding, but two more of the big cats are on their way.
The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo said Teddy the tiger was moved to the San Diego Zoo last week as part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' conservation breeding program for the species, which experts believe has reached a population of less than 400 in the wild, The Journal Gazette, Fort Wayne, reported Tuesday.
"Though we are always sad to see animals leave, knowing that they could breed and increase the population of this species makes it worthwhile," zoo animal curator Mark Weldon said.
The zoo's other Sumatran tiger, Kemala, moved to the Toronto Zoo in December.
The Fort Wayne facility said it is preparing to receive two other Sumatran tigers, Indah and Bugara, sometime this month. The tigers are coming from the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas.
Hypnotist plans orientation switching
LONDON, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Famed British illusionist Derren Brown said his next televised stunt will involve hypnotizing a straight man into believing he is attracted to other men.
Brown, 41, who came out as gay four years ago, said he believes he can convince a straight man that he is gay and hypnotize a gay man into believing he is straight, The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.
"I was thinking about this the other day -- it would be interesting wouldn't it? To take a gay guy and make him straight and a straight guy and make him gay," Brown told The Sun.
Brown's previous TV stunts included convincing people the world was ending and hypnotizing a group of people into robbing an armored security van.
Mammoth skeleton up for auction
GAARDEREN, Netherlands, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A Dutch man who spent 10 years putting together an entire mammoth skeleton said he is putting it up for auction with a starting bid of $367,895.
Bart Schenning of Gaarderen said the mammoth, assembled from 280 bones mostly dredged up by fishing nets, is being auctioned on website Marktplaats because he does not have room to keep the skeleton, DutchNews.nl reported Tuesday.
Schenning said he has had trouble selling the skeleton partially because most museums on the Netherlands already have a mammoth in their collection.
