Beiersdorf, manufacturer of Nivea products, posted a video on YouTube detailing the pranks, which began with victims being lured to the Hamburg Airport and left waiting in a specific area by friends who were in on the scheme, The Local.de reported Tuesday.
The company took pictures of the victims and placed them in fake editions of the Hamburger Morgenpost newspaper, which were then read near the victims by an actor who made sure people in the waiting area could see the pictures.
The same pictures were then used in fake TV news broadcast being shown on the TV screens in the waiting area and an announcement over the airport's loudspeakers declared the victims to be dangerous.
The victims were then approached by fake security guards who asked if they were feeling stressed then opened a case filled with Nivea deodorant products.
