John Morse, the Senate president, asked during the session, "Do you smell marijuana in here, or is it just me?" thereby cracking up his fellow lawmakers, KMGH-TV reported in Denver. Advertisement The TV station did not report whether the legislators' giggling was due to a collective contact high. "If the sergeants would please douse all the doobies in the area," Morse's voice was heard asking on a recording of the morning's session.
