Alrosa said the diamond, discovered in the Yubileynaya diamond pipe in the Yakutia region, is octahedral in shape and yellowish blue in color, the Prime Business News Agency, Moscow, reported Tuesday. Advertisement The company said its experts have put the diamond's worth at about $1 million. The same diamond pipe yielded an 888.15-carat diamond in October that was said to be the fourth-heaviest diamond ever produced in the country.
