Police bust alleged 'peeping Tom'

DAVIE, Fla., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said they arrested a man accused of spying through a window with his pants undone as a woman took a bath.

Davie police said they were called to a trailer home neighborhood shortly before 12:10 a.m. Thursday, on a report of a man masturbating while looking into a window, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Friday.

An officer arrived and discovered Luis Velasco, 18, standing in front of a trailer home's window while "jumping up and down in front of the window looking inside of it."

The officer said Velasco had his jeans unzipped, but the officer did not see him masturbating.

The arrest report said the officer could see a woman taking a bath through the window.

The officer knocked on the door and the woman, Jessica Ott, said she did not know Velasco and wanted to press charges.

Velasco was arrested on a voyeurism charge and held in lieu of $500 bail.
