Advertisement Newark Mayor Cory Booker unveiled the first pieces from the collection, made from melted down weapons seized by his city's police department, Wednesday night on MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show," The (Newark) Star-Ledger reported Thursday. Booker said the idea is to turn the melted guns and bullets into "an instrument of peace," of which a portion of the profits will go toward the city's gun buyback amnesty program. The jewelry, available at calibercollection.com, ranges in price from $150 to $375. Pot pie burglar enters drug treatment SALISBURY, Md., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- A Maryland man who broke down the door of a house, took off his pants and ate a chicken pot pie was spared jail when he agreed to enter drug treatment. Advertisement Russell Neff, 23, pleaded guilty to first degree burglary and was sentenced to 10 years in jail with all but time served suspended when he agreed to enter a drug treatment court program Jan. 11, The Daily Times, Salisbury, Md., reported Thursday. Police said Neff broke down the door to a stranger's Salisbury home in August and cooked and ate a chicken pot pie from the home's kitchen, The Washington Post reported. Officers arrived to find Neff clad in only his underwear and licking a television remote control, police said. Zimbabwe clinic cleared of 'goblins' IRISVALE HALT, Zimbabwe, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Residents of a Zimbabwe village said they've "cleansed" a medical clinic of goblins but nurses who fled the clinic are still too afraid to come back to work. Mhelethi Moyo, a resident of Irisvale Halt, said the Irisvale Clinic has been closed since Nov. 22, when four nurses fled following what they claimed were attacks from goblins, Newsday, Harare, Zimbabwe, reported Thursday. "They took away those goblins and the clinic is now clean," Moyo said. "We need the nurses to prove it for themselves, but they still believe that they will get attacked if they come back. Advertisement "We have been hearing stories that the goblins have moved to businesses in this area. Several female employees in these shops have been complaining about the mysterious attacks. However, the clinic was cleansed and there are no goblins there anymore. Efforts have been made to bring back the nurses, but they are not showing any interest and some of them are now even working for other clinics in the district," Moyo said. "The clinic will remain closed until we find people to work there." 11-pound gold nugget found BALLARAT, Australia, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- An Australian miner found a more than 11-pound gold nugget worth at least $300,000, a gold shop owner said Thursday. The (Ballarat) Courier reported the nugget was found about 2 feet underground in Ballarat by a local prospector who took it to the Ballarat Mining Exchange Gold Shop. Gold shop owner Cordell Kent said the nugget would be worth about $300,000 by weight but actually is more valuable left in its natural state. "I can't remember a nugget this big ever being found locally," he told The Courier. He said a find like this "gives people hope" and predicted a fresh gold rush.
