LANTANA, Fla., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Florida investigators said they arrested a man accused of illegally distilling and selling moonshine at his home.

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation said agents from the department's Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco arrested Daniel Pawa, 23, of Lantana, Friday morning, The Miami Herald reported.

Investigators said undercover agents purchased more than 40 gallons of moonshine from Pawa and a search of the home resulted in the seizing of a moonshine still, liquor bottles, a hydrometer, mason jars and a .45 caliber gun.

Pawa was charged with possession of moonshine, conspiracy to violate beverage laws and possession of a firearm.

Authorities said they were searching for two other suspects believed to be involved with the operation.
