LAMONT, Alberta, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- The owner of an Alberta farm where thieves made off with an outhouse is offering a $507 reward for information on the theft.
Randy Nemirsky said he and his son dismantled and rebuilt the 1936 outhouse with improvements to the design during the summer and discovered in the fall the structure, which had been bolted into place, had been stolen, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Monday.
"I think at least four to six guys had to come here to do this ... two guys? No way they could do this," Nemirsky said.
He said he was baffled by the theft, which also targeted a picnic table on the farm. He said his offer of a $507 reward has failed to yield any leads in the case.
"You spent time building it, and where do you go now?" he asked. "I can build another one, but how low can you go to steal a man's privy?"
