ATLANTA, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Officials at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport said a suspicious vibration that caused a service interruption turned out to be a toothbrush.
The officials said a vibration was discovered in a bag checked onto an AirTran flight Friday and service in a portion of the North Terminal -- including Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority rail service -- was interrupted for a little more than a half-hour while an investigation was conducted, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Friday.
Investigators discovered just prior to 8:30 a.m. the vibration was being caused by an electric toothbrush in the bag. Full service was soon resumed.
