Police said the Sanford family returned Friday from a Christmas trip to discover a burglar had cooked and eaten food from their freezer, drank some of their liquor and slept in a guest room before leaving with about $500 worth of gold jewelry and a bottle of Jack Daniels, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Tuesday. Advertisement Investigators said the thief also took a key to the family's 2007 Cadillac, but left the vehicle in the driveway. Fingerprints were collected from the scene to help police attempt to identify a suspect.
