Todd Morris, chief executive of BrickHouse Security, said he started the program seven years ago after hearing of how often baby Jesus figurines are stolen from outdoor nativity scenes, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday. Advertisement Morris said the company implants GPS devices in the figurines and publicizes the security measure to deter thieves. Marc Horowitz, the company's editorial director, said none of the hundreds of figurines under the company's protection has been stolen.
