REDDICK, Fla., Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida said they are investigating an unusual theft -- 300 square feet of brick pavers comprising a woman's driveway.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the victim told deputies she left her Reddick home around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and she arrived home at 6 p.m. to discover the pavers making up the driveway were missing, the Ocala (Fla.) Star-Banner reported Thursday.

A witness told deputies two men, a heavyset black male and a smaller white male, were seen digging up the pavers, but it did not seen suspicious because workers have recently been seen working on a barn on the woman's property.

The suspects drove a black pickup truck with a flatbed utility trailer.
