Advertisement Salisbury police said the man was wearing the costume pieces around 9:20 p.m. Monday when he walked into the China Buffet restaurant, brandished a black handgun and demanded money from cashier Mae West, WBTV, Charlotte, N.C., reported Tuesday. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and police said a dog was only able to track the thief to the location where he is believed to have gotten into a car. Police said the costumed villain was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants with his mask and gloves. 'Cleaning Fairy' gets probation ELYRIA, Ohio, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- The so-called Cleaning Fairy who broke into an Ohio house, cleaned up and left a bill, was sentenced to one year of probation and 20 hours of community service. Advertisement Judge Peter Corrigan sentenced Susan Warren, 53, of Elyria, Monday after she pleaded guilty in October to charges of attempted burglary and trespass, WKYC-TV, Cleveland, reported Tuesday. Police said Warren, dubbed the "Cleaning Fairy," broke into a Westlake home May 22, cleaned up and left a bill for her services. Investigators said she was previously accused of a similar crime in Bay Village. Hospital marks 19 boys in a row MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Doctors at a Minneapolis hospital said they delivered 19 consecutive baby boys, a record for the facility. The University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis said the first boy was born at 9 p.m. Friday and was followed by 18 more boys before a girl was finally born at 7 a.m. Monday, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported Tuesday. Officials said the weekend marked the hospital's longest uninterrupted streak of baby boys. "I'm calling it a statistical marvel," said Lisa Archer, a nurse manager at the hospital. The hospital said a total 106 boys have been born at the facility this month and only 77 girls. Dancer, gators and pot found in home OLYMPIA, Wash., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Deputies in Washington state who answered a call about gunfire say they walked into a home and found a pole dancer, two hissing alligators and a cache of pot. Advertisement It may sound like the plot line for a movie, or maybe a bad joke, but Thurston County sheriff's deputies say the Monday night incident near Olympia was real, The Seattle Times reported. Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Greg Elwin said two investigators were greeted at the door by a 41-year-old man, who told them he had fired a weapon in self-defense after someone tried to run him over outside his home. Elwin said the officers suspect the man actually shot at a car that had pulled up in an ambush-style attack, since a 30-year-old man later showed up at an Olympia hospital to be treated for a gunshot wounds. Back inside the home, investigators found a floor-to-ceiling brass poll and talked to an exotic dancer, Elwin said. In another room they discovered the two 5-foot long alligators crawling around. "They were there for protection for the marijuana grow area," Elwin said. They arrested the 41-year-old man for investigation of attempted murder and called County Animal Control officials to take care of the gators. "We don't know what the legalities are of keeping alligators, it could be just fine," Elwin said.
