SALISBURY, N.C., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Police in North Carolina said an armed man wearing the mask and gloves from a Spider-Man costume robbed a Chinese restaurant.

Salisbury police said the man was wearing the costume pieces around 9:20 p.m. Monday when he walked into the China Buffet restaurant, brandished a black handgun and demanded money from cashier Mae West, WBTV, Charlotte, N.C., reported Tuesday.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and police said a dog was only able to track the thief to the location where he is believed to have gotten into a car.
