BERLIN, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- The English slang term "Yolo" has been voted the most popular German youth expression of the year by a dictionary maker.

Langenscheidt said "Yolo," short for "You only live once," was chosen unanimously by a six-person panel after online voters compiled a brief list of the year's top youth words, The Local.de reported Monday.

Other words making this year's list were "Yalla," the Arabic word for "hurry," and "Komasutra," a term coined for the act of "attempted sex between two very drunk people."
