GRANDVIEW, Mo., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A Missouri obituary lists "disappointment caused by the Kansas City Chiefs" as contributing to a man's death.

Jennifer Lickteig of Grandview said she and her family decided to include the jab at her father's favorite team in his obituary in The Kansas City (Mo.) Star following his Nov. 14 death because he loved the team and had a great sense of humor, KSHB-TV, Kansas City. reported Monday.

"Loren G. 'Sam' Lickteig passed away on Nov. 14, 2012 of complications from MS and heartbreaking disappointment caused by the Kansas City Chiefs," the obituary reads.

"My dad was such a comedian," Jennifer Lickteig said. "He loved the Chiefs, so we had to let him have the last word."

"If we weren't laughing, we'd be crying," said another daughter, Diana Hennessey.

The obituary came on the same day the Chiefs lost 28-6 to the Cincinnati Bengals. The team is currently 1-9.
