eBay seller: Nicolas Cage is a vampire

SAINT-BRIEUC, France, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Police in France allege a man posed as a police officer to con an ex-girlfriend out of her monthly salary.
Investigators said the 50-year-old suspect, a security guard from the Cotes-d'Armor region in the northeastern part of the country, convinced the ex-girlfriend to give him her monthly salary by claiming he was a police officer taking a few months off work to cope with the death of his son, The Local.fr reported Thursday.
Police said the man also posed as an officer to berate a noisy neighbor. Investigators said he used a fake police badge and a uniform he purchased via the Internet to aid in his ruse.
