CASTLE SHANNON, Pa., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- A deer ran through a Pennsylvania store and was trapped inside for about 30 minutes before finding its way to freedom, witnesses said.

Jill Horvatic, who was inside Stout Carpeting in Castle Shannon when the deer entered the store Tuesday, said the animal caused a lot of damage inside the shop while trying to find an exit, WPXI-TV, Pittsburgh, reported Wednesday.

"Honest to God, I was shaking. I haven't felt like that ever in my life," Horvatic said. "For 20 minutes all I heard was banging and glass shattering. It was horrifying."

Police set up barricades inside the store to help the animal find its way out.

Authorities said no injuries were reported.
