Orange and black lobster Halloween ready

BOSTON, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- A New England lobsterman discovered a lobster all dressed up for Halloween -- in orange and black -- a few days before the holiday.

Dana Duhaime, who fishes out of Salem, caught the 1-pound female in a trap Sunday, The Boston Globe reported. He gave the lobster, with its unusual black and orange markings, to the New England Aquarium.

While orange and black is the most common combination for bi-colored lobsters, most lobsters are one hue, with two colors showing up in every 50 million to 100 million crustaceans.

Duhaime named the lobster "Pinchy" in honor of a lobster that appeared on "The Simpsons."
