Swedish woman evicted over threats

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- A Swedish appeals court upheld a building management company's eviction of a woman whose neighbors complained her angry notes had become threatening.

The 56-year-old Stockholm woman appealed the eviction to the Svea Court of Appeals, where the landlord told judges the woman had been leaving angry notes to other residents of the building and the notes had become more threatening over time, Swedish news agency TT and The Local.se reported Friday.

The woman, who the court heard has a mild form of autism, was particularly incensed by a neighbor who would open a window in a stairwell.

The building management company said the woman's lease had been terminated twice before, but the decisions were reversed after the woman said she would improve with additional home care.
