Police: Robber left his ID behind

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Police in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, said they were searching for a man who left his ID at a BP gas station after allegedly robbing the station.

Investigators said Rodney Peterson allegedly robbed the station around 9 p.m. Saturday while armed with a broken bottle, WEWS-TV, Cleveland, reported Monday.

Police said Peterson inadvertently left his ID on the counter when he fled the station.
