Waltham police said the parrot, which had previously been spotted on the loose in the area, flew into the open window of the police cruiser Monday and landed on the shoulder of an officer who closed the windows and called animal control, WBZ-TV, Boston, reported Thursday. Advertisement Authorities are hoping to reunite the bird with its owner. "We haven't found the correct owner, but a lot of people have asked about it," animal control officer Deanna Gualtieri told The Boston Globe.
